Located in Crolly, only a short distance from Meenaleck, the new distillery is a beautifully restored 1902 stone building and houses the first licensed whiskey distillery in Donegal since 1840. In keeping with local Gaeltacht distilling tradition, they use direct fired pot stills in our double distillation, sourced in the Cognac region and refurbished to produce beautiful spirit. Errigal

Errigal is a 751 metre (2,464 ft) mountain near Gaoth Dobhair. It is the tallest peak of the Derryveagh Mountains and the tallest peak in County Donegal. Errigal is also the most southern, steepest and highest of the mountain chain, called the "Seven Sisters".

Glenveagh 4

Glenveagh National Park

Open all year round - walks, castle tours and natural woodland. Glenveagh National Park lies in the heart of the Derryveagh Mountains in the north-west of Co. Donegal.

The 16,000 hectares of Glenveagh National Park comprises of mountains, lakes, glens and woods. The large area includes most of the Derryveagh Mountains, the Poisoned Glen and part of Errigal and is a beautiful place to walk the hills and follow trails. Cycle hire is also possible from www.grassroutes.ie 

The park extends over a large area of north Donegal and you have free access to roam from all points. Hauntingly beautiful wilderness which includes the Castle and Gardens, magnificent in all seasons especially when the plants and flowers blossom in the Spring and Autumn.

Glenveagh National Park is one of six national parks in Ireland. As a National Park it exists to conserve interesting plant and animal communities and associated landscapes in their natural state.
